CFIS Project Overview • Introduction Replace the current Political Finance Reporting System with a more user-friendly Campaign Finance Reporting System for use by candidates for public office, political committees, lobbyists, receipting associated with these functions and to provide better service to the general public.

  3. Budget • $176,500 was budgeted for the design of the new Campaign Finance Information System

  4. Timeline • The CFIS project was started on 12/01/2009 by the selected contractor • The goal is to implement the new CFIS by March 26, 2010 • The CFIS project is currently in the close-out stage and is on target to go live by March 26, 2010

  5. Accomplishments • CFIS Project Specifications 100% complete • CFIS User Interface 100% complete • CFIS Web Form Validation 100% complete • Database 100% complete • Backend Services 100% complete • Web Interface Integration to Service 100% complete • Reporting Development 50% complete • System Testing and Deployment 90% complete
