  2. Introduction George Bush was born in New Haven Connecticut on July 6th 1947. In 1977 he Married Laura Welch on November 5th. He currently resides in Texas with his wife and twins Laura and Barbra Bush.

  3. Social Contributions During George W. Bush’s first term he was leading the country but also had to deal with the worst American tragedy to date. He made the airplanes we fly in safer. But so far he did a good job because we haven’t been attacked again.

  4. Childhood During George Bush’s childhood he loved to play different sports. His favorite sport was baseball but also enjoyed football. He played Little League for a while. He played catcher. He was good at catcher but wasn’t good at batting. As a child his father owned oil rigs in Texas.

  5. Adolescence • When bush was a teen he moved across Texas. He needed to move to Houston because his father owned a off shore drilling corporation. Later he moved to Massachusetts to attend Philips Academy. His father had attended this school and he wanted to do the same. He also became the Quarterback for the football team.

  6. Adulthood Before George Bush executed his presidential duties he had become governor of Texas. He was the Governor for five years. But then he decided to run for president. He went on to win the election and be elected twice.

  7. Slide of your choice 9-11 is one of the worst tragedy to date. Terrorist stole a plane and crashed it into the twin towers. They hit the towers high so the damage wasn’t as bad as it would be if hit lower. 2,740 Americans died that tragic day. Not much could be done about this.

  8. President Harry S. Truman was president at the time of George W. Bush’s birth. Harry Truman Was A Democrat. His Vice President was Alben Barkley. He was married to Elizabeth Truman.

  9. Interview • If I could talk to George W Bush I would ask: • Did you ever regret becoming president? • Would you change health care? • Would you change anything you did in office?
