Step UP Lancaster CountyCommunity Challenge • Challenge is based on Eat Wise & Exercise • Incorporated into health portal technology provided by outside vendor, FiVi • Portal Capabilities: • Host of educational materials (recipes, health coaching videos) • Log variety of physical activities (time) • Map your run/walk/path and SHARE • Create and carry out training plans • Set and maintain health goals • Community building through creation of groups • Individual challenges (attainable 7 day challenges) • Team-based challenge (6 weeks, Spring 2014)

Step UP Lancaster CountyCommunity Challenge • FREE Fitness/Nutrition Opportunities throughout Lancaster County • Sign up to host! • View calendar on LULC website and health portal closer to challenge • Additional benefits for employers/employees/HR managers • Free for companies to enroll employees • Unlimited access • Employee kept confidential • Healthy workplace educational materials ex: smoking cessation, healthy weight management, nutrition • NIH MedLine plus • Limited reporting available

  4. Step UP Lancaster CountyCommunity Challenge • Team Challenge (Spring 2014) • Virtually walk to Great Wall of China by tracking steps/activity • Teams of 4-5 • Ability to “back-log” • Prizes!!!
