  3. Geographical landscape • Great biological significance - only be found in north-west VN. • Temperate & sub-temperate forests • FansipanMountain - the highest peak of Hoang Lien Moutain Range and in Indochina Peninsula.

UNESCO criteria • to contain exceptional natural beauty and aesthetic importance. • to contain the most important and significant natural habitats for in-situ conservation of biological diversity, including those containing threatened species of outstanding universal value from the point of view of science or conservation. • to be outstanding examples representing significant on-going ecological and biological processes in the evolution and development of terrestrial, fresh water, coastal and marine ecosystems and communities of plants and animals.

  5. Conservation Strategies • Cooperation between the government and local people to protect the forest from littering and deforestation. • Plant more trees • Stricter fine for tourists who got caught littering. • Health center to check up the animals’ health.
