  2. Repetitive Stress Injury (RSI) • Any injury that results from overuse of a body part without giving it time to recover Most common problems: • Aches and pains • Hand problems • Eye strain

  3. Aches and Pains • Typically caused by problems in your surroundings • Desk • Chair • Mouse

  4. Solutions • Chair • Back support • Cushioning • Desk • Natural position • Mouse • Trackballs • Tablets, etc

  5. Hand Problems • Ergonomic keyboards can help prevent carpal tunnel syndrome • Avoid laptops when possible or use an external keyboard • Support your wrists

  6. Eye Strain • Place monitor at arm’s length from your body • LCD monitors with crisper display to avoid flicker effect • Lighting – Avoid fluorescent lights
