  4. We can find out where the most wheat is grown in Saskatchewan.

  5. We can point to the places where apples are grown in Washington.

  6. We can see the spots where coal is mined in Pennsylvania.

  7. The types of maps that show us the types of things that are grown, raised, or mined are called product maps.

  8. Oil is drilled from the ground in Texas.

  9. Midland and Houston are near oil production.

  10. Fruit and vegetables are grown south of Corpus Christi.

  11. Hogs are raised near Fort Worth and El Paso.

  12. Vegetables and corn are grown near Austin.
