  4. 1st Draft of Vision Statement “Our mission is to develop a viable long-term action plan that prepares Northeast Michigan to succeed going forward into the 22nd century.   We envision vibrant, attractive, full service communities with strong economies.  The action plan will promote development that blends well with our natural environment, honors our regional heritage while also achieving healthy and sustainable economic growth”
