  1. Visioning CLIMATE CHANGE AND CLEAN ENERGY PROJECT

  2. VISIONING is an important stage in organizational/community transformation. • When a group of people come together and form a clear • VISION COMMIT • COMMON VISION RESULTS

  3. Visioning is NOT X – Problem Solving Something “go-away” X – Planning X – Visualization

  4. VISIONING – is creating the result you want. CREATING is bringing into being what you want to manifest into the world . . . VISION is crystallization of what you want to create, so that the result is specific and tangible in your imagination.. .

  5. To create a Personal Vision is to have a clear picture of what you choose in life – It is based on the question: “If your life could be exactly what you would want itto be, what would it BE?” To create a Vision is to actively create a LIFE; to step away from re-acting, blaming or being victims to external situations and circumstances. . .

  6. When creating a vision of what you want, it is important to be in the habit of conceiving the whole picture, not just a small part of it. Therefore include in your vision WHAT YOU WANT TO CREATE, the circumstances and qualities of what you want to create and the full context in which you want it to appear. Be encouraged to aspire to what is HIGHEST and deepest in you. . .

  7. VISION is about enjoying change . . . You will not mind leaving your old house if you have a new house to go to> AS IS YOUR AIM, SO WILL BE YOUR ACTION! A high vision will lead to enthusiasm for change and intense personal effort (COMMITMENT TO ACTION).

  8. VISION IS PRO-ACTIVE . . . To create a vision is the best way to change – Why? Because you are going to change anyway? Is it better to change on the basis of what you would really want to choose? Are you VISION-DRIVEN? or CRISIS DRIVEN? Or are you comfortable JUST MANAGING?

  9. Vision CREATES A PURPOSE . . . If today you develop a clear picture of your “new house”, then it will become a frame of reference, or the criterion by which everything else is examined. Each part of your life: today’s behavior, tomorrow’s actions, next months’ programs, can be examined in the context of the whole – of what really matters to you . . .

  10. VISION IS UNLIMITED . . . To create a vision is to let go of any shackles of the present. It is to let go of any limitations and to see the end as it could be. Good examples of an unlimited vision > “Man will walk on the moon before the year 2000.” The technology was created on the basis of the vision . . . And it happened in 1969! Noynoy: “Daang Matuwid!” – he won the Presidential elections!

  11. WHO IS A CO-CREATOR? • IS NOT > • primarily a re-arranger of circumstances • problem solver • generator of alternatives • a freak of nature blessed or cursed with talents beyond those of most people • not one who creates only on the basis of having an unusual novel and composition • a manager of process subject to the whims and weather of changing circumstances • one who manages trade-offs among connecting and competing forces • one who can assess and fulfill needs.

  12. A CO-CREATOR • IS > • one who takes things from nothing to look like something • one who takes a day that is the same and makes it different • one who makes life beautiful and wonderful for the self for someone, somewhere. • creating not only for self-satisfaction but for the benefit of all • one who looks at the meaningfulness of the event and sees the depths and significance of life. • one who is not driven by circumstances. • one who hears something unheard of in the air. . .

  13. A CO-CREATOR IS > • one who can bring into reality what at first does not exist • one who enables others to make a fundamental shift of orientation – a shift from reacting or responding to the circumstances in which individuals find themselves, to an orientation in which they become the predominant creative force in their own lives • one who is able to join together in collective creative art of bringing into the world what they all most deeply care about and want to see exist.

  14. “No dream is too big for the one who dares to follow it. No star is set too high for the one who dares to reach for it.”
