Senior Dues Senior Fees - $100 due by March 13, 2015 • Price increases to $130 on March 14, 2015 • Graduation Venue • T-shirt and DVD • Contact person is Ms. Clemmons Cap and Gown - $40 plus tax due by March 13, 2015 • Price increases to $55 plus tax on March 14, 2015 • Payments are made directly to Herff Jones at www.highschool.herffjones.com • Class rings, announcements and other senior memorabilia can be purchased through Herff Jones • Contact person is Mr. Murphy Prom - $75 due by March 13, 2015 • Price increases to $85 on March 14, 2015 • Contact person is Mr. Hawkins

  6. Senior Activities Laser Tag - $35 (Optional) – November 10th Beach Day - $50 (Optional) – June 11th Contact person is Mr. Hawkins ALL PAYMENTS ARE MADE TO THE SCHOOL BANK, EXCEPT CAP AND GOWN, ANNOUNCEMENTS AND OTHER HERFF JONES PURCHASES.

  7. Prom When: Prom is on Friday, May 29, 2015 Where: Carnegie Library, Washington DC Time: 8pm-12am Prom is a formal event. The theme will be decided during the senior class meeting on October 8th. For more information, see Mr. Hawkins.

  8. Senior Picture Make-up Day When: November 12th, 13thand 14th Where: Wilson High School in room 416 Time: 8:00am – 2:30pm See Mr. Hawkins if you have not received information from Lifetouch in the mail.

  9. Yearbook Information Yearbooks are purchased from Jostens We need your picture for the yearbook. Please bring your baby picture to have it scanned and returned to you. All pictures are due to Ms. Branch by November 1, 2014. Senior Spreads – All pages are in color Full page: $150 (10-12 pictures) Half page: $75 (5-6 pictures) Quarter page: $40 (2-3 pictures)

College and Career PlanningMaking a College List • REACH SCHOOLS- these schools possess many of the features the scholar desires but admissions is very competitive. • REALISTIC SCHOOLS- schools that possess the significant features a scholar desires and the probability of admission is slightly better then even. • SAFETY SCHOOLS- schools that possess the majority of the features a scholar desires and the probability of admission is highly likely. A MUST Scholars should want to attend all of the schools on their lists.

  29. SCORES Scholars are responsible for sending their SAT and/or ACT scores directly to colleges. Go online to do so. www.collegeboard.org or www.act.org All of your scores will be sent to your colleges. Students should still feel comfortable sending all scores, since colleges consider a student’s best score. Select which scores you want to send to your colleges “Score Choice” gives you the option to choose which scores (by test date for the SAT and by individual test for SAT Subject Tests™) you send to colleges — in accordance with an institution's stated score-use practice.

  30. Social Media Scholars beginning the college application process should understand the potential consequences of the way they present themselves online.
