  5. Fungi Reproduction • Some fungi reproduce sexually. • Other fungi reproduce asexually. • Involves spores.

  6. Fungal Habitat • Fungi grow best in warm, moist environments.

  7. Fungal Classification • Fungi are classified according to their reproductive structures.

  8. Importance of Fungi Beneficial • Decomposers • Recyclers • Food source • Medicines

  9. Importance of Fungi Detrimental • Infections – ringworm and athlete’s foot • Crop damage • Allergies (fungal spores)
