February 13 Newsletter: Valentine's Activities, Reading, and Geometry

1. Mater Gardens Kindergarten Newsletter Name: Week of February 13 CHECK WHAT TABLE YOUR CHILD IS SITTING AT This week –This week we will continue to read “Roses are Pink and Your Feet Really Stink”. We will also read “The Gingerbread Man” in our reading text books. In Language Arts we will learn the letter “Z” and review letters learned to date. In Math we will begin the chapter on Geometry. Comments Dear Parents, All students must bring in a large tissue box covered in Valentine themed or Valentine colored paper. The box may be decorated and the student’s name must be written under the box. Please leave an opening for the students to insert a card. It will be used as a “mailbox” for the Valentine cards. It must be turned in by Tuesday morning, at the latest. There will also be a sign-up sheet on the board outside the classroom for the Valentine’s day party.
