  1. Mater Gardens Kindergarten Newsletter Name: Week of November 21 CHECK WHAT TABLE YOUR CHILD IS SITTING AT This week – We will continue to read “There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed a Pie”. In Language Arts we will review the letter sounds. The spelling and sight words are the same and they are a review of words we have already learned. The sight word test will be on Monday and the spelling test will be on Tuesday. In Math we will review addition and subtraction. Comments Dear Parents, We will be having a Thanksgiving Feast on Wednesday. There will be a sign up sheet outside the classroom with a list of the items and help we will need. Please bring in all items on Wednesday morning. On Wednesday the school lunch will be turkey with mashed potatoes and sweet potato. All students are encouraged to buy it. If you do not receive free or reduced lunch the cost is $3.00. Our celebration will be begin at 10:00 am. All parents are invited to attend! There will be NO SCHOOL on Thursday or Friday of this week. Enjoy the long weekend with your family and friends and thank you for all your help  See you on Wednesday…gobble, gobble!
