The jewelry designer needs pliable wire to make earing hooks. (adjective) Copper is a pliable metal that is used in many ways. (Pliers are a tool used to bend wire) Pliable Something that is pliable is easy to move or bend without breaking.
Ms. B. scanned the playground to check for missing equipment. (verb) The doctor took a scan of the woman’s leg to see if it was broken. (noun) Scan To scan a place is to look carefully over the entire area for something specific.
