The ITU Regional Workshop on "ICTs for Women's Empowerment in the Arab Region" took place in Kuwait on October 5-6, 2011. This event focused on harnessing information and communication technologies to enhance women's roles and capabilities within society. It included discussions on strategies, challenges, and empowering initiatives aimed at fostering gender equality through ICT.
