Back up that disk with Clonezilla! • Uses Partimage, ntfsclone and dd to clone partitions or whole disks. • Can save as gzip, bzip2, Lzo, or uncompressed image. • Supports ext2, ext3, reiserfs, xfs, jfs, FAT and NTFS filesystems. • Can save to local or network drive. • Use easy to follow screens with directions • Get It at: http://www.clonezilla.org/

  3. Part 1: Backup A Partition

  4. Select Language

  5. Explaining keymap choices

  6. Select Keymap

  7. Start Clonezilla

  8. Select disk/partition to image

  9. Type of drive to save image(local or remote drives etc.)

  10. Clonezilla will give you time to plug in a USB drive

  11. Select partition to hold image

  12. Select save_client_partition

  13. Select which utilities willbe used to make backup(use the top one)

  14. Use the default parameters unless you know better

  15. Select the type of image compression

  16. Name the backup image

  17. Select the source partition

  18. Answer a couple of “are you sures?” watch the image be copied.Shutdown the computer when done.

  23. Start Clonezilla

  24. Select disk/partition to image

  25. Type of drive to save image(local or remote drives etc.)

  26. Select partition holding image

  27. Select Restore_client_partition

  28. Use the default parameters unless you know better

  29. Choose the image file to restore

  30. Select target partition

  31. Answer a couple of “are you sures?” watch the image be restored.Shutdown the computer when done.

  32. Part 3: Clone A Partition

  36. Start Clonezilla

  37. Select disk/partition to disk/partition

  38. Select local partition to local partition clone (note the other choices)

  39. Select source partition

  40. Select target partition

  41. Use the default parameters unless you know better

  42. Watch as the partition is cloned.Shutdown computer when done.
