  1. 2013 United Way Rally It takes everyone in the community working together to create a brighter future. Together, we can accomplish more than any single group can on its own. We invite you to be part of the change!

  2. Message from CEO/Management • Employee Campaigns see an increase when there is support from the management. If possible, have your CEO or another respected leader share their reasons for supporting United Way.

  3. 2012 Campaign Thank You Show the results from the previous year and the impact in the community resulting from your company’s support. Examples: • Increased participation by 25%: that means 1 in 4 people gave to United Way • Total employee pledges of $12,548!

  4. 2013 Campaign • Show United Way 2013 Campaign Video & • Invite a United Way representative or Agency Speaker to share 1st hand the impact – call the United Way office at 345-4551 to schedule. Speakers are encouraged to speak 5-10 minutes.OR • Share the Opening Doors to Health Care Initiative – see initiative slides

  5. 2013 INITIATIVE: Opening Doors to Health Care • United Way invests in Open Door Health Center to help provide access to health care to uninsured and under-insured people. • Open Door Health Center provide 3,912people with health care services in 2011 • An average of 200 people are on Open Door Health Center’s dental waiting list each month

  6. 2012 INITIATIVE: Opening Doors to Health Care • United Way funding helps to supplement Open Door Health Center’s sliding fee scale • 72% of Open Door Health Center patients were eligible for a sliding fee discount

  9. 2013 Campaign Goals & Incentive • Share your company’s GOALS: Increase employee participation by 10% and Increase #1 Club membership to 25 people! • Share your company’s INCENTIVES: When you join the Heart Club, enjoy an extra day of vacation in 2013!

  10. 2013 Campaign Ask We invite you today to join us in giving. Every gift makes a difference in creating a better life for all. We encourage you to give an additional $1 per week or donate 1 hour of your pay per month back to the community. Together, we are making a difference to make the greater Mankato area the best place to live and work.
