Leadership in Education: Building Effective Pedagogy Through Inquiry and Community Engagement

In education leadership, it's crucial to ask tough questions and promote critical thought among staff to foster a supportive environment. Our school focuses on creating trust and effective communication, ensuring all voices are heard. We initiated a collaborative pedagogy plan, grounded in the New Zealand Curriculum, emphasizing teaching as inquiry. By involving educators in reflective practices and strengthening community partnerships, we aim for improved Māori success and increased parental engagement. As we wrap up this year's inquiry projects, we will validate our assessment data and plan for next year's initiatives.
