I am looking forward to our year together! • Ideas for learning at home: • Teach your child your telephone number. To keep your child safe, it is important for your child to know how to reach you in case of an emergency! Try to put the number to a song and sing it together. • Play an “I SPY” game where you look for the color, red, and the shape, circle, around your house and while you’re out and about! Talk about this color and shape with your child and see who can find the most red and circle things.  The shape we will be learning about this week is a circle! The color we will be learning about this week is red! Reminders -Parents, please initial on the calendar every day next to your child’s behavior. -Please make sure your child has a change of clothes at school. -Remember our new arrival/dismissal policy. Please do not park your cars and come into the school building. In the morning, pull up to the front awning, and we will help your child out of the car and have you sign in. In the afternoon, pull up to a dot, we will walk your child to the car, and you can sign them out. Make sure to keep the green tag on your rearview mirror.  ((To avoid traffic, it helps to come at 2:00!)) Important Dates • Tuesday, August 19th-Fall Pictures (please make sure your child has a uniform to change into after the pictures are taken) • Tuesday, August 19th- PTO/PI Meeting (Importance of Fathers/Watch Dog Program) 6:00-7:00pm • Friday, August 29th- Teacher in-service, no school • Tuesday, September 2nd- Pizza Hut Fundraiser.
