  2. What I chose to do and why I chose to help my community by collecting as many clothes and toys as I could to give people who don’t have very much. I decided to do this because I don’t think its fair that some families have lots of things and some families don’t have very much. By donating the things I collect people who don’t have much money will be able to have new things

Who helped me & HOW DID WE ASK THEM • We asked people using different types of media • We used a website (called Nextdoor) to ask our neighbours to donate clothes (in the picture is my friend Ethan who donated toys) • We texted my soccer team to donate toys (in the other picture is my soccer buddy Casey who also donated things) • We emailed my Dad’s work who gave me lots of different things • With everyone’s help we got lots of things to donate which I hope will make lots of people very happy

  4. What i collected • I collected lots of different clothes and toys. I also gave lots of my toys that I don’t use any more as the children need them more than I do. I hope they will be excited to have some new toys to play with • In the picture is me collecting at my dads work and bags of clothes outside our neighbours houses

  5. Where I donated it • I went to Frisco Resale to donate the toys, clothes and games I collected. They help lots of families in need in my community Frisco • In the picture is me and a volunteer at Frisco Resale

WHAT DO I THINK ABOUT THE PROJECT • I ENJOYED DOING THE PROJECT AND I HOPE I HELPED SOME PEOPLE THAT HAVE LESS THAN ME. • I LEARNT THAT WE SHOULD BE GRATEFUL FOR WHAT WE HAVE. • I AM HAPPY THAT I CAN HELLP OTHER PEOPLE AND IF MY FAMILY NEEDED IT THEN SOMEONE WOULD HELP US TOO. • THANK YOU FOR LISTENING. • DO YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS?
