  2. What I Did For my project, I fed the guinea pigs at the Texas Rustlers Guinea Pig Rescue in Lewisville. I helped take care of guinea pigs who didn’t have homes. Some of them were sick. Some were given up by their families because they couldn’t take care of them anymore.

  3. Orientation Here I am getting to know the guinea pigs and learning their routine.

  4. Feeding the Guinea Pigs Guinea pigs eat lots of hay and drink water. I put a pile of hay in each cage and checked their water.

  5. I also fed the guinea pigs pellets.

  6. What I Learned If you get a guinea pig, or any other animal, plan for a lifetime of care. All animals deserve a loving home.
