  1. ACT LOCAL Community service project By daynehonaker 2013

Since I have had outpatient surgery at children’s medical center at legacy when I was 4 years old and will probably return there for more surgeries ON MY EARS AND ON MY HEART, I decided to do something for the children in that hospital. My mom called the hospital to find out what we could donate to help the sick children. They suggested CRAFTS AND SHOWS FOR THEM TO WATCH ON DVD. WE LOOKED AND FOUND 10 SHOWS THAT WE HAD WATCHED ENOUGH AND COULD CONTRIBUTE TO THE HOSPITAL. WE ALSO HAD 8 WHITE T-SHIRTS AND DECIDED TO BUY GLITTER AND STENCILS AND COLORFUL FABRIC MARKERS THAT THEY COULD USE TO DECORATE THEM. THEN WE WENT TO A FEW STORES TO FIND DISCOUNTED ARTS AND CRAFTS THAT LOOKED FUN AND EASY FOR KIDS TO MAKE. WE FOUND 6 DIFFERENT CRAFTS INCLUDING A CRAZY LOOM TO MAKE BRACELETS, GLOW-IN-THE-DARK CRAYOLAS, FINGER PUPPETS TO MAKE, KEYCHAINS TO MAKE, A CORKBOARD CRAFT, AND SCENES TO CREATE USING COLORFUL TAPE. HOPEFULLY THE KIDS WILL FEEL BETTER WHEN THEY ARE HAVING FUN USING THEIR CREATIVITY.

  3. OFF TO THE HOSPITAL!

  4. THEY GAVE ME A COOL MEDAL FOR HELPING KIDS WHO AREN’T SO LUCKY AS US
