Daily Class Agenda and Language Practice - September 4, 2013

On Wednesday, September 4, 2013, students are reminded to complete Ex. 6 on page 315 and prepare for the Spelling Quiz for Unit 1 this Friday. Important announcements include submitting papers to the 1st academic teacher and details about the TAS session in the 3rd academic class today. Students will also discuss the use of iPads in their classes, sharing ideas in pairs. Additionally, they'll actively practice vocabulary and review sections, including a writing assignment on nouns.

  5. Vocabulary Unit One • With a partner • 4 minutes • Actively practice spelling. • Return to seat before time is up.

  6. Ex. 5, p. 313 • The telegraph was the first electronic medium. It sent and received electrical signals over long-distance wires. One of the first inventors of the telegraph was Samuel F.B. Morse. He was an artist and inventor who lived in the United States. In 1837, Samuel F.B. Morse demonstrated the system in New York. Morse Code later evolved from his invention.
