AR Farm to You • Not a stand alone activity – no impact • USDA says evaluation is not an option – we have to show impact • Serving Up MyPlate designated curriculum • 4 levels: K, 1-2, 3-4, 5-6 • Each level has 4 short courses divided into 3-4 sessions • Minimum - first 2 courses before AR Farm to You exhibit • At the most, will take 10 hours classroom time for all sessions of the 4 courses

Cost • SNAP-Ed schools – no charge to schools if they use Serving Up MyPlatecurriculum and conduct and submit pre- and posttests • This was submitted in our FY14 SNAP-Ed plan and we anticipate it will be approved but won’t know until Oct. 1 • Non-SNAP-Ed schools - $1.50 per student • Need at least 300 students for exhibit to come to a school; maximum of 450 students per day

FCS Agent Responsibilities • Market the Serving Up MyPlate and AR Farm to You exhibit • If using train the trainer model, train teachers on Serving Up MyPlate • Provide curricular materials to teachers • Conduct pre- and post-tests and send to Katie Holland for analysis upon completion of post

FCS Agent Responsibilities • Work with schools and Frey to schedule the exhibit • Work with schools to make sure they are following time line and ready for the exhibit: • provide manual to coordinator • make sure they have adequate volunteers • provide scripts and train station volunteers • publicize event • Be present during AR Farm to You to assist where needed • Assist school coordinator with reports
