  4. Cheetah life cycle • Mother has 1-3 cubs • Mother protects babies in a burrow for 8 weeks • During this time the mother protects cubs constantly to avoid predators. • In the wild cheetahs only live about 5 years but get to 19 years old in captivity

  5. Cheetah adaptation • They run fast to catch its prey. • It blends in with day hunter • It is fast so it can prance to catch food or run away from enemies • A flat rudder like tail
