2. Purpose • Purpose: The purpose of this skills assessment is to grade the students on their performance of throwing a softball.

3. Scoring Procedure/ Process • Each student will get three attempts. The student will be graded on the correct way to throw a softball. Each skill is worth 10 points. The teacher will take the best attempt out of the three to grade.

6. Scoring Procedure for Product Students will have 3 attempts. The teacher will grade and take the best attempt out of the three. Students have to hit their target between their partner’s shoulders and waist. If you get a check mark in “Yes” you get all the points, if you get a check mark in “No” you get no points. Yes= 50 points No= 0 points
