Comprehensive Drug Addiction Treatment Program in Turkmenistan

The National Steering Committee Meeting held in Ashgabat on February 2, 2011, introduced the TREAT Component to address drug addiction in Turkmenistan. Funded by the European Union, the project emphasizes tailored actions for the beneficiaries, focusing on treatment inside and outside prisons. Planned activities for 2011 include workshops, study visits, training sessions, and discussions on investments for sustainable treatment solutions.

Guiding Idea All actions and activities will be performed according to the expressed needs of the beneficiaries Actions and Activities shall be focused at treatment of drug addicts outside of prison, treatment of drug addicts inside the prison and monitoring, evaluating and steering of treatment for drug addicts This Project is funded by the European Union and implemented by a EU MS Consortium
