  13. LETTER TO MISSED PARENTS Dear family members, We are sorry we missed you at the last Family Support meeting. At the meeting, we shared some information about some special things that have been going on in your child’s classroom and we wanted to share this news with you as well. Throughout this school year, your child’s classroom has been involved in a grant project using ARRA funding. The focus of the grant has been positive behavior support. We have incorporated timers, pictures, fidget toys and other items to help increase concentration and attention to task. We have also incorporated a Social Skills curriculum that focuses on following rules, making friends and teaches children problem solving skills. Please consider joining us at the next parent meeting to learn more about this exceptional project. All of the things we are doing work at home too! Please accept this gift as reminder to come and see what we are all about. The gift you have received is also available for use in our classroom. Sincerely, The ARRA Grant Team
