  1. Registering for MasteringEngineeringTM www.masteringengineering.com

  2. Click “New Students” Go to www.masteringengineering.com

  3. If you selected “No, I need to purchase access online now,” then mouse over the book titles and click on your text. Select book to continue

  4. Answer the question: “Do you have an access code?” Select: “Yes, I have an access code” if you purchased a text with a code. “No, I need to purchase access online now” if you do not have a code. Click “Continue”

  5. NOTE: Price will be shown before purchase is complete. Click “Continue” Select either “Yes” or “No” if you wish to purchase access to the eBook at this time. If you’re unsure, you can upgrade to an eBook later.

  6. Read the License Agreement and Privacy Policy Click “I Accept”

  7. If purchasing access online, your selection and its price will be listed. Select: “No” if this is your first Pearson product. “Yes” if you already have another Pearson account. Or “Not Sure”. Click “Next”

  8. Select: “No” if this is your first Pearson product. “Yes” if you already have another Pearson account. Or “Not Sure.” Create a Login Name and Password. Confirm Password. If you purchased an access code in your bookstore enter your unique Access Code. Click “Next”

  9. Enter First Name, Last Name, and E-mail Address Enter School Country, Zip Code, School Name Scroll down

  10. Select a Security Question and answer it. Click “Next”

  11. Congratulations! You have successfully created a Login and Password. Click “Log In Now.”

  12. Enter your Login Name and Password Click “Log In”

  13. If you received a Course ID from your instructor, select Yes, enter your Course ID, and click Continue.If you DO NOT have a Course ID, you will automatically be taken to the study area that corresponds to the access code you redeemed. You can Join a Course later if your instructor gives you a Course ID.

  15. Click and complete the “Introduction to MasteringEngineering” assignment to learn how to use the program.
