  7. How Were Mummies Made? • The body can be washed • The organs are removed • The body is dried with a type of liquid called Natron • The natron is washed away with sawdust • They put stripes of line on the body • They put the mummy in a coffin

  8. What Is Natron • Natron is a natural salt with chloride

  9. Did They Leave The Heart In The Body? • Yes, they left the heart in the body

  10. Why Did They Leave The Heart? • It was a meaning of intelligence to the Egyptians
