QUESTIONS • Should we open Hostel parking (buildings 39-41) for general use ? • Should we increase the number (size) of kitchens in the hostel ? • Should we extent the reservation period in the hostel from 2 to 6 months ? • Should we introduce electronics waiting list in the hostel ? • Do you feel the need for the extension of the hostel in order to get more beds in two years from now ? • With new shuttle to Saint-Genis hostel and improvement of quality, would you agree to use St.Genis instead of CERN hostel? • Should we transform few TV/reading/smoking areas into rooms to have more beds in the hostel in a short term ? Hostel maters • www booking – positive feedbacks • small remarks: refusals for red periods, www not easy to find • Price of rooms in the hostel 41 ? • Locked drawers and suitcase placements in rooms of hostel 41 ? • Offices into rooms – 5 rooms in the transformation ? • More reading-TV rooms to sleeping rooms ? • Weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) – almost no refusals • 4 working days, June, July, August - high rate of refusals • Paradox: Still some empty rooms due to high cancellation rate. • Extend hostel reception after midnight- positive feedbacks A.Rozanov CERN CAFG 07.06.2010
