To secure the future of NMI within the Church of the Nations (CotN), a transformative change in mindset is imperative. We must embrace adaptive leadership to connect with younger generations by engaging them through their culture, language, and interests. Leveraging the talent already present in NMI and GMC, we can develop innovative methods to promote our mission instead of merely our programs. This initiative will involve thorough data analysis, ongoing discussions among experts, and creating a phased action plan to achieve meaningful change within this quadrennium.

KEY ACTION • REACHING LOST GENERATIONS • Our mind-set change is essential to ensure the future of NMI as a key for the CotN • Need to become adaptive leaders in order to engage younger generations • Mobilise people in their ways (culture, language, engagement) • Take advantage of highly talented youth already in NMI and GMC to implement new ways to present the cause rather than the programme • Come up to speed with those who are already making the change (eg NCM) • Detailed analysis of data contained in the report of the Global Director • Discussions started, will continue via EC/DK and experts to be identified (eg KM) • Result will be a clear action plan for implementation on a phased basis to achieve change so that mind-set change occurs this quadrennium
