  11. NZDF Planning Status Decision by COMD Joint Forces New Zealand is to deploy a small multi-disciplinary health team for the duration of the deployment to Vietnam 10 – 24 Jul 12. Contingent: Plan to embark USNS MERCY in Subic Bay Philippines / disembark at the conclusion of mission in Vietnam. MAJ BROOKS – will attend Main Planning Conference (30 - 31 Jan in San Diego) as HQ JFNZ Rep. Now registered into APAN, awaiting membership to PP12 accounts. Joined Engineering team and medical teams for site surveys in Indonesia Possible replacement of Mr. Mincey by Mr. Casey Bell for Vietnam Mission Supplies: - 2.5 million APRI funding granted to CPF for mission - FLC Yokosuka coordinating with USNS Mercy Supply regarding HSP contracts for mission countries.

Civil Affairs Working Group Summary Week of 28 November: Draft CJ-CMIC Org chart posted on APAN. 19 U.S. billets (13 on the ship, 6 ashore with ADVON) Filled out with PN, HN, NGO additions Assessment WG identified Mission Objectives, Effects, MOEs. This is posted on APAN under CA WG. Ongoing: Awaiting specialty requests for desired NGO capacities Driving down to mission tasks, MOPs, MOEIs Continue validation of CJ-CMIC positions, processes, business rules and products.
