Severe Weather Update for Middle Tennessee: Heavy Rain Expected March 4, 2011

DESCRIPTION

Widespread severe weather is not anticipated; however, isolated severe storms may occur. The primary concern is heavy rainfall, with an expected accumulation of 1-3 inches across most of Middle Tennessee from Friday night through Saturday. Significant rises in local rivers are expected, increasing the risk of flooding, especially following recent rain. A potential new round of severe storms and heavy rain could arrive next Wednesday.
