  1. SCIENCE EXTRA CREDIT By Julia O

  2. Importance/Generating of a Hypothesis Forming an Hypothesis before conducting an experiment is very important in the experimental process. Without a hypothesis you have no desired effect. When generating a hypothesis you can make a educated guess based on observations.

  3. Control, Dependent, And independent variables Control Variable- A control variable is the one element that is not being changed throughout the experiment, because it affects the other independent variable. Therefore affecting the outcome. Dependent Variable- Is the variable changing because of the independent variable in the experiment. Independent Variable- Is the variable being manipulated or changed during the experiment.

  4. Importance of communication, negotiation and debate in the science community The importance is if you find out that your hypothesis is true and you told other scientists they might try to prove you wrong. Then they would start debating and try it and found out something else. And that is good for finding out new things.

  5. Replication and repetition Replication is important Repetition is when because it is for when you repeat the other scientists replicate experiment over your experiment to see and over again. if they get a different outcome

  6. CONCLUSIONS IN EXPERIMENT After you have tested everything in your experiment and have come to a conclusion (or answer) to the experiment.
