Extra Credit Assignment

This assignment involves creating index cards for each of the 50 states in the United States. Collect essential political, geographical, and historical information for each state, including the state name, capital, motto, region, date of entry into the Union, presidents associated (if applicable), the most populated city, and major geological features. Use 3x5 index cards to neatly organize this information. This project will enhance your understanding of U.S. history and geography throughout the year.

  2. Objective You will gather political, geographical and historical information on the 50 states that make up the United States of America.

  3. Index Cards !!! You might want to go to Cosco! You will be using index cards through out the year This first assignment will require 50 cards Cards will be 3x5 On each of the cards you will write key information for each State

  4. The required information On each card you will start with the following information: The State (centered) Capital State Motto Region Entered the Union (date) Re-entered (if Applicable) Presidents (if Applicable) Most populated city Major Geological feature
