  2. Data Protection notice When discussing members of the public, all agencies and individuals will agree to respect their confidentiality. The disclosure of information outside this meeting, should not occur unless there is a legal basis for a disclosure.

  3. PACT Priorities • Anti Social Behaviour – Co Op, Gun Hill, New Arley (agreed 20 targeted patrols) • Obstruction outside Young’s Builders Yard, Common Lane, Corley (agreed 15 targeted patrols) • Speeding in Common Lane, Corley (agreed 10 speed checks)

  4. Community Priorities • Warwickshire Police is obliged to protect communities from harm in line with the ‘Police Priorities’. • This may mean that in exceptional circumstances SNT officers may be required to work on other policing priorities. • If this happens there will be a need to re-negotiate priorities. This will be done in liaison with the Chair and the panel.

  5. You asked us:- • Parking High Street, Coleshill • Speeding Wood End Lane, Fillongley • Girl Guide Site at Fillongley - Fires • Nuisance Motorcycles on Green Lane at Sandy/Wood Lane • Astley Cross Roads, potential changes to layout

  6. Anti Social Behaviour, Co Op, Gun Hill • Target of 20 patrols – achieved 65 • Previous ¼ 3 incidents reported, this ¼ I shoplifter • visited store to find exact problem • continued to regularly liaise with staff for updates • advised parents of those suspected about ASB and consequences

  7. Speeding, Common Lane, Corley • Target of 10 patrols – achieved 12 • Previous ¼ 1 report and last ¼ no reports • 4 motorists advised/verbal warning (I about to speed) • No written cautions • No fixed penalty tickets issued

  8. Obstruction outside Young’s, Common Lane, Corley • Target of 15 area checks – achieved 26 • Previous ¼ there were no reports of obstruction this ¼ no reports – verbal to Police staff • 7 motorists given verbal advice • 4 warnings by Bull and Butcher • Working with business re alternative parking • Will be providing simple signs for business

  11. CHANGES FROM MAY 2011 – to reiterate • WPC 86 Ellen BEATY ‘ Beat Manager’ will be responsible for the day to day Policing of the forum area. • PCSO’s to carry out much the same role as present. • There will be limited SNT responsibility for investigating crimes or attending incidents. Incident response will be provided by teams based at Bedworth and Rugby. • All investigations will be conducted by investigation teams based at the Criminal Justice Centre (CJC) Nuneaton.

  12. North Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership activity • Be Safe burglary packs being distributed to victims of domestic burglary • Packs include 'Be Safe' booklet, 2 x window alarms, 1 x door handle alarm, home security checklist and a CAPS messaging form.

  13. Preparation work on extending Town Safe scheme into Coleshill starting to be arranged • Funding available from NWBC and the Police and Crime Commissioner to support scheme if local businesses sign up • 3 additional Nomad 3g mobile cctv cameras being deployed

  14. North Warwickshire Community Safety Partnership activity in 2013/14 will include: • Sustaining crime and disorder prevention measures for the priority crime types • Including violent crime, domestic burglary, vehicle crime • Reducing reoffending • Local initiatives will include extending the use of Nomad 3g mobile cctv cameras and considering setting up town watch schemes and implementing Automatic Number Plate recognition cameras
