  1. Who is For EEA Family Permit UK? If you are an EU citizen taking up residence in the UK according to the EU regulations, then you can bring your family with you through the EEA family permit UK. Types of Family Permits • There are two different types of family permit, which are: • The EEA family permit • The EEA settlement scheme family permit • You can apply for any of the family permit depending on your circumstances. • When You Can Apply for the EEA Family Permit? • You can apply for the EEA family permit UK, if you are a close or extended family member of an EEA or Swiss national. Extended or close family member includes aunt, brother, uncle, sister, cousin, nephew, or niece.

  4. How Long the EEA Family Permit is Valid for? • The EEA family permit is valid for 6 months. Within the six months, you can leave and enter the UK as many times as you need.
