  1. HERGEBRUIK,  OPMERKELIJKE EXPOSITIE VAN DE TEXTIELGROEP WEEFGEIN 24 mei t/m 1 juni exposeert de textielgroep “WEEFGEIN “ in het kunstencentrum in NIEUWEGEIN. Het thema van deze expositie is: INTERIEUR, HERGEBRUIK EN KRANTENARTIKELEN. De textielgroep WEEFGEIN bestaat uit: Renée Campagne, Michelle Henar, Rudy de Haas, Els van Beurden en Marianne Albers Met ongekend enthousiasme is men bezig geweest met vilten, weven, bewerken van kunststof met hitte, breien, papier maken, verstevigen met paverpol, verven, zagen etc. Het resultaat mag gezien worden: prachtige sieraden, lampen, lectuurbakken, vloerkleden, manden, grote potten, schalen, beklede krukjes, poef, grote en kleine kussens … Het hergebruikte en daarna bewerkte materiaal is heel divers, onder meer: kranten, truien, handdoeken en lakens, lampenkap, knopen, scheringresten, cassettebandjes, dekzeilen, spinakers en kunststof flessen.
