  2. Scatterplots Using the Casio, follow these steps to enter scatterplot data and get equations or values. 1. Go to STAT (2) from main menu. 2. To delete any data, arrow up to highlight List 1 (or List 2).

  3. Scatterplots 3. Hit F6 then F4 (DEL-A) then F1 (YES). 4. Repeat for any other list. 5. Enter data, x values into List 1 and y values into List 2.

  4. Scatterplots 6. Hit F1(GRPH). (If F1 is not GRPH, then hit F6 first.) 7. Hit F1(GRH1) again. A plotted point graph will appear. 8. Hit F1 (x) and you will see a, b, and the equation of the line.

  5. Scatterplots 9. Substitute the values of a & b into y = ax + b to get the equation. 10. To transfer the equation into the graphing mode, hit F5 (COPY).

  6. Scatterplots 11. Hit EXE to store it. The calculator will revert to the equation screen. 12. Go back to the MENU and go to GRAPH (5). Your equation will appear in Y1.

  7. Scatterplots 13. Hit F6 to graph it. 14. To get a corresponding value, hit F5 (G-Solv). 15. Hit F6 (the arrow).

  8. Scatterplots 16. Choose Y-CAL or X-CAL. 17. When prompted, enter the corresponding value. Hit EXE.
