On September 11, 2012, a presentation by John Harman and Lico Galindo outlined the current status of the EPA's Resource Control System (RCS). This initiative focuses on automatic harvesting from various registries without their replacement, enhancing access to EPA, state, and tribal resources through the Exchange Network. The benefits of RCS include improved application development, cost savings, and the establishment of re-use standards within agency contracts. Notable features include a user-friendly interface and enhanced asset classification and visibility, supporting federal enterprise architecture.
