  1. What Are The Types And Symptoms Of Brain Injury?

  2. Brain injury causes damage of your brain cells and this is more common at the warfront where the soldiers fight with bullets. This is why bullet resistant helmet is necessary when in the battlefield. As a result of stroke, trauma, external forces or other illnesses, brain injury has become very common these days. Most of the people suffering from traumatic brain injury lose their lives and the few surviving have to depend on someone else for their daily activities.

  3. Types of brain injury Any traumatic brain injury could be head injury, but a head injury doesn’t necessarily have to be a brain injury. Brain injuries are mainly of two types- acquired brain injury (ABI) and traumatic brain injury (TBI) and both affects the normal functioning of your brain.

  4. 1. Acquired brain injury (ABI) ABI is associated with pressure that is put on your brain and occurs at the cellular level. It could result from tumour or neurological illness as in stroke. 2. Traumatic brain injury (TBI) TBI occurs when your skull gets damaged by some external force such as a blow to your head. This in turn damages your brain. To protect your brain from such injuries, bullet resistant helmet at the battlefield is necessary.

  5. Unlike acquired brain injury, traumatic brain injury may not appear until days or weeks and the person may look fine. So to help you treat such injuries better, here are the signs and symptoms of TBI: Persistent neck pain or headaches that do not go away easily Difficulty in remembering things, making decision or concentrating Slow in reading, thinking, acting or speaking Getting easily confused or lost Feeling demotivated and tired most of the times

  6. Frequent mood swings, feeling angry or sad for without any reason Changes in sleep pattern-having a hard time sleeping or sleeping a lot more Loss of balance, light headedness or dizziness and urge to vomit Increased sensitivity to sounds, lights or distractions Eyes tire easily or blurred vision Loss of sense of taste or smell Ringing in the ears

  7. These are the most common symptoms of traumatic brain injury that occurs from external forces. These are most common at the warfront and so you need to wear bullet resistant helmet at the battlefield. But when buying such helmets, make sure that you look for a reputable dealer of safety equipment for the battlefield. There are companies that claim to offer the best, so you need to be watchful and pick the company that is known for offering the best quality equipment.
