  1. LEADERSHIP Leadership means a person consciously trying to get other people to do something which he wants them to do. MANAGERIAL LEADERSHIP It is the capability to align people working with him to achieve corporate goals and synergise personal goals with corporate goals.

MANAGER AND LEADER • Managers are there by virtue of their position whereas leaders are there by virtue of their qualities. • Managers get done what would have been done anyway whereas the leader achieve things that could not have been done without them. • Manager work within a framework of rules and regulations to carry out the aims of the organization whereas a leader works in a wider perspective and serves to create new aims.
