It's a barren and desolate land but you will be enchanté by the extroardinary beauty of this site.In the movie it's on Mt Doom that the One Ring has been forged by the Dark Lors Sauron and its the only place where it can be destroyed.   2. Matamata It's a small city near Mt Kaimai. A picturesque farm next to Matamata was used for the shooting of the three films of the Lord of the Rings, more specially for the scenes of the Hobbit village. This place is perfect for the inconditional fan who will be transported in the fascinating univers of the movie.Its a lush land. The houses were built in the hill.
