Tasmania Together is a comprehensive 20-year plan focusing on social, environmental, and economic progress. This initiative includes progress measurement, civic engagement, and a framework for planning and policy development. The community's input was paramount in shaping the plan, with over 5000 Tasmanians participating through various channels including questionnaires, surveys, forums, and stakeholder submissions. The revised plan for 2011 now includes a vision, 12 goals, 155 benchmarks, and 188 measures of progress, addressing 16 issues for future development. The focus is on information provision, stakeholder engagement, enhanced online reporting, and utilizing social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook. Programs like Partners Program, Acknowledgement Program, and TT Youth Challenge promote community involvement and youth engagement.
