Translating geographic codes from the maps to geographic codes in the census data in Statistics Canada products: • Census tracts • If it’s in Toronto, add CMA code ‘535’ • E.g. census tract ‘0010.00’ becomes ‘5350010.00’ • Dissemination areas • if it’s in Toronto, add province code ’35’ • E.g. dissemination area ‘203160’ becomes ‘35203160’

Shortcuts to Beyond 20/20 tasks: • To switch rows and columns: click & drag the column title onto the row titles (or vice versa) • To bring a background dimension forward: click & drag the title into the row or column titles • To select only some items: select with <ctrl><click> and menu Item/Show • Made a mistake? Menu Dimension/Reset

  26. More shortcuts in Beyond 20/20: • To make a dimension ‘active’: click on the title or any item in the dimension • To search an active dimension: use ‘Display active dimension’ icon to check how it’s coded, then the ‘Search’ icon to search the best field
