This study examines the variance of pDβH activity in three different populations using published data. It presents a genotype-specific variance against mean pDβH activity, emphasizing confidence intervals for observed variances. Additionally, we explore model-based and model-free linkage analyses of pDβH activity on chromosome 19, comparing different Mendelian models under logarithm transformation. The findings provide insights into the genetic architecture of pDβH activity and its relationship with other traits post SNP adjustments, enhancing our understanding of the underlying genetic mechanisms.
