STAGES and TIMELINE • Registration online to OTF Winter 14-15 • Trailer specs and tender outline plan Dec 14 • Letters of support listed and sought Dec-Jan 15 • Application stage moved ahead with club Jan 15 • Model Brampton, Georgetown, and York apps. • Final trailer design and tender Jan/Mar 15 • Final application package prepared Apr 15 • Package presented to club for information May 15 • Package completed online to OTF May/June 15

Following Acceptance • Fall 2015 receipt of approval • Necessary accounts set up to cover payment and maintenance • Tender sent out to supplier as an order • Winter 2015-16 we receive/purchase new trailer • Spring 2016 – outfit interior w/cupbds., desks& whiteboard, plus exterior lettering and screening • May-June 2016 – initial use as a Comm. UNIT

  4. Decide on final NAME Suggested later in the meeting NORTH BAY AMATEUR RADIO CLUB COMMUNICATIONS and keep the EMERGENCY RESPONSE UNIT Trillium Logo to be added!!! Not sure if we can or should use the city logo!!! Mock up version Funded by the Ontario Trillium Foundation

MISSION STATEMENT The North Bay Amateur Radio Club (NBARC) is an incorporated non-profit organization whose objective is to promote Amateur Radio in the city and surrounding area, provide communications for local organizations, and when requested - to provide emergency communication. As well, it provides a place for like minded people to get together to discuss the common topic.....amateur radio.

Objectives: The objects for which the Club is established are as follows: a. to secure the pleasures and benefits of an association of persons commonly interested in Amateur Radio, b. to further the exchange of information and cooperation between members, c. to promote radio knowledge, fraternalism and individual operating efficiency in accordance with all relevant legislation, d. to conduct club programs and activities so as to advance the general interest and welfare of Amateur Radio in the community; e. to do or cause to be done all such things as are incidental or conducive to the attainment of the foregoing objects and, in particular, to:

Objectives continued… i. provide communications within the amateur radio community, and for non-profit or charitable organizations’ events, ii. obtain membership or affiliation in any association or other organization having objects altogether or in part similar to that of the Club, iii. carry out all administrative duties involved in or related to the purposes of the Club, iv. purchase, take, lease, or otherwise acquire and hold and dispose of real and personal property, v. borrow money in any manner and upon such terms as the Club thinks fit and with or without security for the repayment thereof, vi. draw, make, accept, endorse, execute and issue promissory
