BRIEF HISTORY • Started as an agency division of Zaverchand group,Baroda, by bringing in Pielkenrood-Vinitex bv,Holland into India.PV were the original patent holders of Shell for this technology, and we introduced these systems into India for the first time. • Mr.Holthuis, the Export manager, was in India continuously over a period of twelve years to develop this market. We also had stationed a technical engineer from PV with us for 6 months to promote these products. The response to our systems was phenomenal. • Initially, we imported these packs into India for the first project at Shell refinery in Bombay. But due to the prohibitive import duties, we decided to manufacture locally based on inputs from Holland. • Subsequently, we collaborated with Nijhuis water for a couple of projects. After this, K Pack systems was formed into an individual company. Simultaneously, K Pack Holland was formed by Mr.Holthuis and Mr.Pos in Holland. During this time, technology transfer was complete.
