3. WHAT WE OFFER SCH Build offers a truly personal service that focuses on meeting – and exceeding – your expectations for quality of workmanship, project schedule and total costs. We work alongside our customers, tailoring each project to suit specific requirements. We provide a personal undertaking, written by lawyers, to assure each customer that the job is being done well. We include a payment plan linked to the scheduled completion of works and the obtaining of structural guarantees. We also offer a structural and design team to bring your ideas to life and advise on aspects of planning.

4. OUR TEAM SCH Build draws on a comprehensive range of building skills and professional services to offer a complete service to customers across all sectors. Our team has been working together for many years, complementing each other’s roles to ensure that projects are completed on time, on budget, and to the highest standards of workmanship and professionalism. Our craftsmen take pride in the knowledge that they are not just doing a job, but are actively adding value to your property.

5. Residential Specialising in projects that add value to property, SCH Build is enhancing your investment. As an example, we recently completed a modification to an existing loft conversion – substantially increasing the floor area by incorporating two new dormers close to the perimeter walls of the house. The addition increased the current value of the property by more than 90% of the project cost – which means the extra space the clients are using as an office/study is costing them less than 10% if they were to sell today, and probably nothing if they wait for the market to improve.

6. Commercial Our commercial arm has undertaken contracts for many different clients, with projects ranging from restaurant development to shop fitting and office refurbishment. Many of our new build projects include a mix of commercial and residential space. These mixed occupancy developments – usually shops with residential apartments above – require special planning approval, but this is usually not a problem if the project is set up correctly. Developers also need to be aware of tax implications when setting up mixed occupancy developments.
