Module Assembly

  2. Disc Mini Cylinder • Manufactured in 4 parts. • Material CFRP or Alum (cost and weight) • Length 110mm • ID 1150 OD 1170 • 4 Flanges connecting to Index Ring • Uses 8 NIKHEF Disc Fixings (AFU 06). In manufacture.

  3. Module Placement Tool (Grabber) • All components manufactured for Inner, Middle and Outer tools.

  4. Disc & Cylinder in AssemblyFrame • New ring manufactured • Module holding jig to be manufactured at Liverpool.

  5. Module Nuts • BeCu Wavey washers to be used • Torque down on hybrid. • Loose torque + loctite on End • Nut & Pin Matl 2014 T6 • Manufacturer for nut has been organised. (50p each Beddis Kenley) • Manufacturer for oversize BeCu washers organised. (13p each Adwin Springs)
